STIRRI®HydraCoat™ - an effortless switch from 3M™ Novec™ 1720
STIRRI® HydraCoat EGC™ is a direct replacement to 3M® Novec™ 1720 Electronic Grade Coating.
HydraCoat™ is a clear, low viscosity, low surface tension material based on Hydrofluoroether engineered fluid similar to 3M's Novec 7100, with the addition of a STIRRI®101X™ fluoro-polymer.
The coating is designed for easy cleaning and anti-smudge capabilities on a variety of surfaces such as glass flat panel displays, widely used for protection of submerged electronic device components, or improved cleanability of solder paste printing stencils.
The STIRRI® HydraCoat EGC™ dries in less than 8 seconds to a thin, transparent, permanent film with excellent hydrophobic and oleophobic properties. Optional post-curing provides added durability and abrasion resistance. It is non-flammable, low in toxicity, non-ozone depleting, and RoHS compliant, shields submersed electronics from liquids, oils, chemicals or hydrocarbons.

Conformal Nano-Coating for Solder Paste Stencils and Electronics Protection
STIRRI HydraCoat™ protects electronics from humidity and liquid spills - PCB continues to function even if fully submerged!
Street lighting, beach and marine installations, radars, boating, automotive, medical devices - used where PCB may have harmful contact with liquids/spills or humid air!
Conformal-nano coating dries to touch in less than 8 seconds. Fully translucent and invisible. 2% polymer is only 0.1µm nano-thick. Doesn't require masking or curing - self cures in 24 hours or in 10 minutes under 50ºC. Traceable or untraceable in UV-light.
