Soldering Tacky Flux & Paste Flux: Storage and Handling
Soldering Tacky Flux & Paste Fluxes should be stored at room temperature (20-25°C). Refrigeration is not necessary and will not extend solder flux shelf life. If the material has been refrigerated - consider 3-4 hours at room temperature to fully normalize, otherwise cold flux may not perform as intended. Syringes and cartridges are best stored vertically with tip pointing down. Properly stored tacky flux in clear syringe tube has up to 12 month shelf life, amber syringe tube - 24 months. STIRRI Amber-Series™ tubes block 200-400nm radiation spectrum virtually eliminating any reaction inside the syringe triggered by sunlight or any other visible or invisible harmful radiation within 200-400nm spectrum.
